A Winter Wonderland Afternoon
The Mirick Family Farm
Sunday, February 27 · 12:00pm - 5:00pm
Join us at First Unitarian Church of Worcester Sunday morning for worship and social hour (10:30AM-12:00PM), and bring your lunch along. After worship we'll meet up at a property on the slopes of Mt. Wachusett. There will be a bonfire, hot chocolate, and s'mores. Bring any sleds, cross-country skis, or snowshoes you have, or just come romp around. There are plenty of fields and trails. A map and directions are available on the welcome table in the Bancroft Room (the hall outside the sanctuary) at the church.

Eat your lunch during social hour, on your way over to the farm, or at the farm. Folks will start gathering there around noon, and latecomers please note that the event will wrap up by 5:00PM. Children may need assistance walking in the snow from the road to the bonfire, which is a distance of about 200 yards.

Birthday Party Luncheon
First Unitarian Church
90 Main Street · Worcester, MA 01608
Sunday, March 6 · 12:00pm - 1:00pm
Faith communities are one of the last remaining settings available in our society for meaningful interaction among the generations. Where will your kids learn to interact with people of all ages? Where will they have the opportunity to develop the compassion that comes out of helping to take care of younger children? Where will they practice their skills in conversation with adults and be given the gift of stories passed down... from elders? At church, that's where!

Come worship with us at First Unitarian Church of Worcester on Sunday morning. Children will attend a portion of worship and then go to Church School classes, but after that we'll meet back up as community of all ages, as we do each Sunday. On this particular Sunday, we'll have a "birthday party mix-and-mingle" luncheon after church. This is a potluck, so please plan to bring a dish. Folks will sit at the table assigned to their birthday month. Older children will help younger children, and everyone will get what they need at the table! Lunch is from 12-1PM.
