About First Unitarian Church of Worcester

First Unitarian Church is the second parish of Worcester, having split off from the first parish in 1785 true to the tradition of the free church.  Since 1898, the congregational covenant has been:

"In the love of truth, and in the spirit of Jesus, we unite for the worship of God and the service of all."

First Unitarian Church...

  • Is a Unitarian Universalist church that values connections with other faith communities in Worcester and around the country.
  • Is a worshiping community called to be present with others in suffering, to risk being uncomfortable, and to celebrate the holy in each other and in the world around us.
